Kyla Callison (she/her) is a silly exuberant comedian with strength in sketch comedy and improv! Graduating from Shenandoah University May 2025 with a BFA in Acting, and a double minor in Dance & Film Studies, Kyla is ready to dive headfirst into the industry.

 

Kyla is skilled in tons of voices and accents, and if you are lucky you might catch her Barbie impression! She is a member of the Improv Troupe and Sketch Comedy Troupe at Shenandoah, and is always ready to brighten up a room and make you laugh! She has aspirations to perform standup in the DC area.

 

Kyla is trained with Theatrical Intimacy Education and has completed Levels One and Two of Intimacy Directors & Coordinators. She is a Certified Consent Forward Artist through IDC. Kyla feels lucky to help be the change in a culture of consent in the workplace. 

 

Though Kyla took six years of French, she can only speak “un peu”, but she can rattle off facts from all of her favorite sitcoms (especially if it’s Broad City or Parks and Recreation). When not performing, she can be found cozied up on the couch with a mug of English Breakfast Tea and a spoonful of peanut butter. Though she loves everything film and television, she isn’t too much of a film snob. You will sometimes find that TV clicked on to Dance Moms, Love Island, or her favorite reality TV show: Ru Paul’s Drag Race.
